The science behind it
Every dose has a reason.And a receipt.
Five actives chosen to work as one stack. First how the combination works and why, then each ingredient in plain language, with the research linked so you can read it yourself.
Why these five, together
Calm focus now.Sharper focus later.
The individual ingredients are well known. The design is in how they layer. One pair you feel inside the first hour, three that build underneath for weeks, timed so the effect never drops off.
Calm, sharp focus in about 45 minutes
Caffeine and L-theanine at a 2:1 ratio, the single most studied nootropic pairing. Caffeine brings the drive, L-theanine takes out the jitter. Focus without the crash, from the very first dose.
A benefit that compounds instead of fading
Ashwagandha and magnesium settle the stress response over 2 to 4 weeks. Bacopa sharpens memory over 8 to 12. As caffeine's day-one kick naturally softens, these come online, so focus keeps improving instead of tapering.
That hand-off is the whole idea. Most focus products fade a little more each week as you adapt to the stimulant. AURIX is built to do the opposite, the felt focus stays, and the deeper benefit is still building at week twelve.
Now, each one.
Every ingredient in the stack, at its clinical dose, with the research linked.
100mg / day01 · The day one spark
Caffeine
Natural, from green tea
What it is
A xanthine alkaloid, and the most validated cognitive stimulant known. In AURIX it comes from green tea extract, not a synthetic source.
How it works
Through the day a molecule called adenosine builds up in your brain and makes you feel tired. Caffeine sits in adenosine's receptors so the fatigue signal never lands. Downstream, dopamine and acetylcholine activity rise, which is the alertness, attention and reaction speed you feel about 30 to 45 minutes in.
What the research shows
Decades of trials show consistent gains in alertness, vigilance and reaction time. The finding that matters for AURIX: paired with L-theanine, attention accuracy improves while the jitter and crash of coffee alone drop away.
Why this dose, honestly
100mg is about one espresso. Enough to feel on day one, low enough to stay smooth under 200mg of L-theanine, and comfortably half of FSSAI's 200mg daily cap. One honest caveat: your body adapts to caffeine over weeks. That is exactly why the compounding actives below are in the formula.
200mg / day02 · The calm in calm focus
L-Theanine
Suntheanine
What it is
An amino acid found almost uniquely in tea leaves. It is the reason a cup of tea feels alert but calm, and it is the calm half of the AURIX hero pair. We use Suntheanine, the patented pure L-isomer form.
How it works
L-theanine increases alpha brainwave activity, the state neuroscientists call wakeful relaxation, within 30 to 40 minutes. It also modulates GABA, serotonin and dopamine, and blunts the fight-or-flight overshoot caffeine can trigger. Caffeine supplies the drive, theanine removes the edge.
What the research shows
Caffeine plus L-theanine is the most studied nootropic pairing there is. Across randomised trials the combination improves attention switching and visual attention accuracy while reducing the headaches, jitter and tiredness reported with caffeine alone.
Why this dose, honestly
200mg against 100mg caffeine is the exact 2:1 ratio the clinical trials used. Not inspired by the research, the actual studied dose.
300mg / day03 · Memory that compounds
Bacopa
Standardised bacosides
What it is
Bacopa monnieri, a water herb used in Ayurveda for centuries and now the best evidenced botanical for memory and learning in modern trials. AURIX uses a standardised extract so every batch carries the same bacoside content.
How it works
Its active compounds, bacosides, support synaptic plasticity, the growth of dendritic connections in the hippocampus, and acetylcholine signalling. In plain language: it strengthens the wiring your brain uses to store and retrieve information. It is a builder, not a stimulant.
What the research shows
A meta-analysis of 9 randomised controlled trials in 437 people found improved speed of attention and faster reaction times. A 12-week trial at exactly 300mg a day showed better verbal learning and memory consolidation.
Why this dose, honestly
300mg is the full clinical dose, not a sprinkle. And the honest part: bacopa is slow. The trials run 8 to 12 weeks before the effect shows. We say that out loud because the caffeine carries you while it builds.
300mg / day04 · The calm anchor
Ashwagandha
KSM-66, made in Hyderabad
What it is
Withania somnifera root, the most trusted adaptogen in India. AURIX uses KSM-66, made by Ixoreal in Hyderabad, the single most studied ashwagandha extract in the world with over 24 published human trials.
How it works
Its withanolides act on the HPA axis, the system that decides how hard your body reacts to stress, and lower cortisol, the stress hormone. Unlike a sedative it does not make you drowsy. It simply turns the background stress volume down, which is what lets caffeine's drive feel clean instead of anxious.
What the research shows
In a 60 day randomised trial, cortisol dropped roughly 28% versus placebo, with large reductions in stress scores. A separate trial in stressed adults found improved memory, executive function and sleep quality.
Why this dose, honestly
300mg is the lower of the two clinical doses, the one proven in the cognition trials, and it is there to make Calm Focus literal: drive from caffeine, calm from ashwagandha, at the same time.
100mg elemental / day05 · The calm mineral
Magnesium
Fully reacted bisglycinate
What it is
An essential mineral your body uses in over 300 enzymatic reactions, including the ones that regulate your nervous system. Most urban Indian diets fall well short of the ICMR's roughly 340 to 440mg a day.
How it works
We use bisglycinate, magnesium bound to two glycine molecules. That form absorbs well, is gentle on the gut (no laxative effect), and the glycine itself is mildly calming. It supports relaxation, sleep quality and a steadier stress response.
What the research shows
A systematic review found magnesium supplementation supports subjective anxiety and stress, and trials in low-intake groups show better sleep quality. The effect is strongest in exactly the people who run short, which is most of us.
Why this dose, honestly
100mg elemental is an honest top-up, about a quarter of the daily requirement, not a treatment claim. And a promise on form: fully reacted bisglycinate only, never the cheaper oxide-buffered blends that inflate the label number with poorly absorbed magnesium. That trick has a name in the industry. We do not do it.
The science also says no.
Honest formulation is as much about what you leave out. Three we rejected, and why.
Creatine
Genuinely great molecule, but it degrades into useless creatinine inside a room temperature gummy. It cannot be honestly dosed in this format, so it is out.
Token fiber
1g of fiber sounds nice on a label and covers about 6% of the real daily gap. A token, not a function. We refuse fairy dust doses.
Sprinkle B12
The dose that would matter is not permitted in this format, and the dose that is permitted does nothing. So it is not in there, and the label does not pretend otherwise.
